TPS adjusted, but something weird happened

My cars been acting up BAD lately. The timing won't stay set for some reason... But I was re-checking my TPS adjustment, and I bumped the wire. The car started to stutter really bad... So I wiggled it some more and it was definitely killing the car. I made a video demonstrating it. There are no bare wires or shorts that I can see.

Please ignore the loud clicking. That's my hood prop. The phone picks up weird stuff sometimes.

Video

What the hell could that be?

*edit*

Disconnect the TPS and you can wiggle that wire all day and nothing happens.

+1. If it reacts to movement like that, the internal connections are no longer in the best condition. Replace it.

It may not be the TPS. Before deciding it's bad, check the condition of the harness connectors.
