Torque Specs
Just did a search and I couldn't find anything. I need to know the torque spec on the Alternator pulley, if there are any. Any help would be much appreciated.

Go to:
http://www.iluvmyrx7.com/2nd_gen_manuals.htm
From there, choose the Factory Service manual for your model year, and then the link to "Technical Data". That document has torque specs for every fastener in the car, I think.
Incidentally, I found that link in the sticky "FAQ" message at the start of this forum. It's a world of information!

My question is...how do you torque down something that wants to spin feely???
I usually bang the nut off and on with an impact gun.  Screw the torque spec.

With about four friends holding on as tight as they can on that belt. Nah the strap wrench will grip the pulley and with a couple strong arms you hold it in place and then torque it down. Thanks again John.
