Torn between buying 1 of 2 rx-7's

Hey I had a question... Im intrested in buying 1 of 2 rx-7s the first one would only cost me $1800 but has front bumper and passenger side front fender damage... also has a starting problem... but only has 73k miles on it... its a N/A 1989? conv.
The other one is at this really know... low budget car lot in town... its a n/a 1989? conv. as well... no body damage. but with 113k miles on it also it has ceramic rims... and one is cracked all the way thru (seems kind of dangerous) a lil paint chip but seems in good condition as well... but they are asking 7k for it and I think that might be too high for a 15 year old car... its nice... but not THAT nice. Any info on which would be a better deal... no known problems with the freakin expensive one though... *shrug*
Anyways thanks for taking the time.

Kev

go for the cheaper one ditch the NA and drop a 13bt in it!!!!! well you shouldn't pay for a rx7 for more than 5 unless you know its good. the first one you mentioned seems fixable especially for cosmetics not sure about your starting problems but for the price of 7k you could do a swap

Don't get either one of them unless you plan on investing lots of time and money... IMO neither one of them are worth the asking price... Especially the second one... Goddamn...

Hey thanks for the info! I'm going to do alot more research before I make a desicion... I dont mind throwing alot of money/work into a car so I'm not vastly worried about either, but at the same time I would like something I can trust for a while without having to throw anything into it... btw its not going to be my daily driver its more of a project. I have an accord that is more or less bullet proof so I wouldent be dealing with Too many out of transportation problems. Anyways yeah I will check the selling fourm... just I cant drive to far from home atm due to job.
anyways thanks guys! Hopefully I will have an FC in a few months if im lucky

and yes ceramic rims... I dunno... I saw them I touched them and then questioned all of life...they may have not been ceramic but they were not metal... or plastic...it was crazy...
