saw my car at the body shop and the exterior door handles had a electric plug coming off them and inside behond the door panel there is 3 wires coming off the lock by the hndle and it goes to a plug..my question is my body is a 89 gtu and i dont have power locks. why id there all this electric stuff there? am i suppose to have automatic locks and there broke?

there is a light around the keyhole on some models ... that maybe what that is

should be the lighted keyhole... see if there is a bulb somwhere around it... if not... its for security
