took apart my engine and heres what I got

I'm gonna rebuild my engine and I just got it apart, tell me what you think?

I also was wondering where the tops of my front apex seal went but I think I found where they left

what do you guys think?

I was driving it home on that horrid day and some kid said to me that my car is overheating
I yelled as loud as I could at that kid


hmmm maybe I don't see the massive amounts of smoke coming out of my car

one motor I tore down chipped in that same passage on the front iron, the only thing I find that iron to be good for is to practice porting.

I have a rebuild kit
I just gotta order my bearings
and a new front housing

and I'm waiting for a rx7 club member to mail me a s5 intake set
and I'm waiting for a rx7 club member to mail me a airpump and 5+6th port actulators

I have the second guys address and I think I might take a visit to his house.

you don't want to use chipped irons, there's no support for the coolant seals, it would just blow into the coolant passage.

my old motor had the same chip like that. a Dan H supplied me with a used iron and it worked out. is it that common to have that passage chip like that? my car was smoking sweet smelling crack before it was rebuilt.
