ok like many FC owners i have the sucky *** 70 amp mitsubishi alt. Theres a alternator shop down the road that can rebuilt the alt to produce more amps. My question is that i wanna make it produce 150 amps, is that too much?

As long as the alternator regulator does its job properly it won't do as you worry about.
