TONS of smoke, all the time!!

Hey, I was wondering if anyone could help me out with this:
I changed the oil in my 87 Turbo II today and after the oil change white smoke has been billowing out of the exhaust, big time. Also, it does NOT come only at startup, all the time, ive tried running the car at idle for over 15 minutes, driving it for 10-15 minutes, everything!!!
Also, the car is leaking oil out of an exhaust leak right before the catalytic convertor, alot of oil.
Anyone have any good ideas?
Thanks

I put in 10w-30, I believe that is what was in before the oil change. The engine has around 2000 miles on it but has sat without running for around 2 years. Everything is running great except for the smoke, it still runs good, idles low, but does idle fairly consistently. By the way, the car needs to warm up a bit before it starts to smoke, just discovered that, it does NOT smoke directly on startup, it takes about 1 minute or so to start smoking.

How would i for sure diagnose a problem with the turbo?

Let me be the first to say that 10-30 is a little thin for the rotary. However it probably isnt related to your problem.
