Question Tokico struts?

I was under my car the other day (completing my 5 lug swap), and I noticed all my struts are labeled Tokico, and appear to be in awfully good shape considering the surrounding areas (no rust on the struts at all).

Just wondering, did the RX-7s come with Tokico branded shocks factory? I thought my car rode a little tight for 20 year old suspension, but I always just assumed that Mazda just built it that well-

No, they did not come with Tokico struts. They were probably installed by the previous owner.

You have TurboII suspension listed as your mod. Tokico made the struts for the TurboIIs. Unless the struts are a different color other than black ( dirt brown doesnt count ), theyre stock.

That's a good point. I suppose I should've mentioned that. Previous owner had mentioned struts from a turbo car. I didn't realize they were totally different from the N/A ones (I had originally meant TII control arms/hubs/brakes, just worded it poorly in my signature, I guess I really do have complete TII suspension )

Well cool stuff, Tokico factory struts. I just keep getting more and more impressed with these cars.
