Tokico N/A Struts??

Just wondering who has used Tokico N/A Struts

Are they any good?
Are the firm/Soft, etc?

I found a 2nd hand set with springs for US$230.

Would they be worth getting? (i am a student on a budget)

i just got them put on my 88 T2. they are much stiffer than stock. the car handles really well with the struts and stock springs. I got a complete set for $323 to my door from shox.com. overall, they are a really good set of struts

I had a set of them on my 16v GTI, never on a Rex though...the GTI had absolutely SHOT struts on it when I bought it...it was driven around like that for several months before getting the Tokiko's. The Tokiko's were quite a bit stiffer(at least in comparison to the shot stock struts) I think the springs were !@#$ed up after being driven around on for so long with struts that were basically doing nothing. But from what I could tell, the Tokiko's felt pretty good for a slightly over $400 set of struts...don't expect huge improvements, but they will be better than stock, and help in your cars handling. $230 is a pretty good deal if they are in good condition and come with springs. What kind of springs? Stock replacement springs?
