Is the TMI's air entrance a good place to put air filter?

Just tough of it.. I still don't have the car so I don't know if there's much space there after U put a FMI, but it would be nice to give some use to that entrance after the intercooler is gone

you could, but many think the heat draw would impede any performance you might assume you'd get from a fresh air charge. You would have to fabricate an air box that would mount tin the ic's place and also figure out how to keep water from being sucked into the engine.

To my knowledge no one has tried or tested it.

At least it might free up some room on that side to run ic piping

Even if you could make it fit in that skinny space, it's a terrible place to put an air fliter, for all the same reasons it's a terrible place to put an intercooler.
