Which tires for top speed?

Would using a larger tire increase my cars top speed? I have 205/60/15 right now, And I was thinking about either getting 195/65/15 or 195/60 15.

Taller would increase your top end.

wider would be a NO, just make you slower.

keep the tire size you got they work well enough.... your top speed isnt gonna be affected that much...when you get rims then worry about tire sizes.... cause you dont need to be going 150 on stock tires

taller tires will allow you to go faster, however the speedo will be wrong, and you will need more power to get there. and since you probably don't have the power to redline 5th now... there would be no point.

the 195/60 would be smaller....

thats a odd question.. You don't???

I usually end up going over 140 mph plus every weekend, over the bridge.

also don't by Dunlop Sp9000 ZR rated tires, they wear out too fast, they are too expensive.

I have used Cooper Cobra XST AA traction tires and they are the best tires I have ever used.

I can burn the tires all day long and have almost no wear at all.
