tires for 2nd gen coupe

After 12 years and 43000 miles, I am about to change the OEM Bridgestone Potenza RE71 tires on my '91 n/a coupe. I've heard some good reports about the Dunlop SP 5000 ( V-rated) symmetic and the Sp sport A2 (H-rated) tires. Any other recommendations? Should I stay with Bridgestone's? The car never goes out in the snow, either. Thanks!

Take a look at the Tire Rack website. It has customer feedback on various makes, as well as specifications, and comparisons. Obviously you don't drive it very often, so just pick a tire that suits your needs.

I'm a cheapskate, so I shopped tirerack.com & found Kuhmo 711's in 225/50-15 at $54. They are only a little smaller than stock diameter, and much wider. I run them at 28PSI to get a goot footprint.
