tips for a new buyer?
Hi there,
I'm looking to purchase a relatively cheap (but hopefully not too crappy) RX-7 in the future. My first car was an MX-6, which I was very happy with, but now I'm looking to take the next step up. I don't intend to race - I just want a car that gets up and goes.
I've been finding some great info by browsing the forum, but is there any advice you'd give to someone who is just starting out and looking for a good RX-7? Any books or other sites you'd recommend? Any good or bad buying experience? Would you recommend a second generation for a first-time buyer (on a very tight budget)? Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks,
A =)

Welcome to the club. You will want to check the stickies and FAQs at the top of the page in this forum. If you have any questions after that you can start a new thread. Some people get really annoyed when people ask questions that can be easily answered by reading the stickies or using the search button in the top right hand corner.

Here's a good link to Aaron Cake's site:

And I just noticed my story is there! LOL! Really old outdated email, but still cool.
Also, scroll down to the links on how to buy a non-turbo and turbo FC.

You can find some good deals pretty cheap. And then the aftermarket has plenty to choose from if you wish to modify in any way.
