I was just curious as to wether or not anyone has either bought or tinted/smoked their tail lights themselves. If so, could anyone post some pictures of some descent examples? I am picking up a set of S5 tails and think that if they were smoked ever-so-slightly, they would look very nice on my black turbo. Any pictures, or suggestions on how to do this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Guys!

My S5 TII's came with 'smoked' tail lights stock.

Maybe someone is selling some in the Classifieds or you might get lucky and find some TII lights at your local wrecker yard...

 

S5 tails are all tinted already...

is there a way to give them the smoked look?

 

Some people say that they are all tinted from the factory but from what I have seen, some appear to be darker than others. I was just trying to find out for sure what the deal was.
