Question timing on streetported motor??

I just recently streetported my motor and was just wondering what the timing shoud be approximately set at?? I just simply did a mild streetport as well as a ported out intake manifold. Should i be advancing it a little more, retarding it, or just set it at stock setting??

thanks

set at stock then get the craftsman timing light that allows 1 degree timing intervals found below:

then advance 1 degree at a time until power is down in the upper rev range. Back off a few degrees and your set. I run 2-5 degree advance and it works for me.
