Timing for ported Engine

Need to know if the ignition timing needs to be adjusted different from stock on a ported non turbo. It is an 88 with lightened rotating assembly and new turbo housings. Racing beat headers, bonez hiflo cat and unknown cat back.
Right now I have it set with the yellow mark spot on the marker. Since port timing is changed by the porting does the ignition timing have to be changed to match?
Thanks

As long as its a streetport you can keep the same timing. My car with a large streetport ran with stock timing and did great.
