timing maybe???too much fuel??/

under full boost my car almost stutters/little popping its so minor that why i think it might be too much fuel?? or advanced timing what could it be...ps its not the 3800 rpm hestitation i have the rtek 1.7 and it mostly happens near 5-6 k

probley not enough fuel what pump and how much psi are u running

I don't like the sound of "little popping noises", sounds like detonation to me. Turn down the boost until you figure out what those noises are.

im only running 8 psi i have the rtek 1.7 greddy 720's and a walbro...2,000 miles on rebuild...all emissions removed

I was getting a ping sound in the exhaust that stopped after i adjusted the timing and variable resistor.

update!! it only does this if the throttle is more than say 3/4...will run fine even underboost at 3/4 its only when you floor it and it also doesnt do it in first or second???

maybe the pressure sensor or mas airflow? did the timing today,still does it...
