Timing keeps changing

I would time the car and get the yellow mark to match, drive the car and everything would be fine(idle 850). The next day I'd get in and my idle wont go below 1100(after warmup). I'd also check my timing and it would be advanced. What would cause my timing to get messed up just after timing the previous day?

The ECU will adjust the timing above ~1,000 rpm.

you HAVE to set your timing with your idle at 750 or below. if your idle is any higher, it will advance to 10-14 degrees, zero split. you can tell if it is idling right if the leading and trailing arent hitting the same spot.. if they are, then lower the idle

Can't lower my idle anymore with idle screw.

Already fully turned going right/tighten.

Follow the idle set procedures in the FSM.

You may need to adjust the throttle stop screw

there should be an stop screw on the throttle body that you can drop/raise the idle with. also try shorting the initial set coupler near the battery (green 2-prong connector i believe). this will disable any attempts from teh ECU to raise the idle (for A/C loads for example)

When you are adjusting the idle screw, is the initial set coupler jumped? If not, the ECU is trying to compensate with the BAC.

Also, make sure you don't have any vacuum leaks and that the cold start cam is not stuck.
