Turn the front pulley clockwise when looking aft at the engine. Turn the pulley til the FIRST mark on the pulley is opposite the fixed pointer on the front cover.

PUll the CAS out of the engine. Remove the flat top cover that is held with two screws and set the cover to the side.

Look at the bottom gear and turn the gear til the mark on the moving gear is opposite the fixed mark on the CAS casting.

Hold that positon and now look into the top of the CAS with cover removed. Look at the two top teeth on the rotor and notice how those two teeth are just opposite the corner of the black reluctors.

Now hold the CAS in that positon and install it in the engine. Look once more at the two top teeth inside the CAS. IF they are not where they were prior to the install............rotate the CAS's body til the two top teeth are now opposite the corner of the black reluctors as they were prior to the install. Now cinch the hold down fastener of the CAS and go do something else.

So? What was your problem? Car not starting?

The attached jpg of the CAS is close to what I explained. Just hold YOUR CAS bottom marks and look into YOUR CAS and you'll see what it should look like after it's installed.
