Time to upgrade. need advice

Ok guys well i have left my fc alone for about a year now and im starting to crave more power, but not sure on a few things. Its running a few mods already

Extend ported motor
Extra dowells
2mm race seals apparently "unbreakable" but i dont believe that for a second
Microtech ltx8
Trust oil cooler
PWR front mount
K&N Pod filter

Thats all i can think of off the top of my head that would change its performance, its currently making 167.3kw @6500 rpm and 510nm on 8psi. (230hp and 376tq) the tuner has set the rev limit to 6500 as he is worried about the fuel system.

I plan on doing this upgrade in 2 stages, the first is just a fuel pump, secondaries and maybe a surge tank so i can bring that rev limit up to 8500 or so. The second step is going to be the turbo and im gonna fit an electronic boost controller instead of the tap i currently have and if required bigger primarys (may even do the primarys with the first stage if u guys think i should)

My car is suffering from a problem at the moment of going up to 12psi, and then bleeding back to 8psi when it gets over 6000rpm, is this the turbo not being able to keep up? have checked and found no boost leaks

I basically wanna have the fuel system ready so all i need to do when i get the new turbo fitted is get a retune and its good to go

Now the questions.

What size turbo would u guys reccomend
What size injectors am i gonna need to match the turbo
What size fuel pump am i gonna need
Should i be upgrading the radiator as a precaution to handle the extra heat the motor will produce
Will i gain much hp with just doing the first stage and raising the rpm by about 2k?

what kind of turbo are you running now??? and 550cc/1600cc combo is good combo upgrad from stock set up (w/upgraded turbo)

Yeah the torque seems weird but its what the dyno sheet says, alot of cars out of that shop seems to have higher torque than i woulda expected. Im running the standard turbo at the moment. I'm pretty sure the ecu can run big injectors and just cut em back though

Forget about the oil cooler, the stock one is fine for most applications. Go for an aluminum radiator though.

If you dowel pin that motor it will be really solid as long as the tuning is good.

Forget your idea about raising the revs, this won't make you any real power on the stock turbo. This is pointless, you are making peak power at probably 5500-6000 right now because the stock turbo just doesn't flow enough. Even on my T4 60-1 turbo (which isn't enormous but way bigger than the stocker) the turbo runs out of gas at 7500 or so (I have my rev limit at 8200). There is no way you will need to rev much over 8000 and that's only if you have a turbo that can flow air up to that point.

What turbo to pick depends on your budget and power goals. A GT35R would be great with a quality divided stainless T4 manifold, but that's going to be expensive. You can do a large hybrid turbo for $900 bucks but don't expect anywhere near the response or top end of a ball bearing one with aftermarket manifold. If your porting is really big go with the GT40. There are non ball bearing options as well, including the T61 for example.

I would recommend at least the 1680 cc Bosch secondary injectors with a fuel pressure regulator and a Supra TT pump (Walbro will work too, but I feel the Denso-made Supra and Cosmo pumps are higher quality), rewired to eliminate the factory resistor relay (which lowers fuel pump voltage when the car isn't under load) which is pointless when you have a standalone.

That upper list of mods is what is already done to the car. The turbo cost is not a big issue to me as that is going to be further down the track, and ill spend the money to get whats gonna be best. So i already have the oil cooler and the block is dowelled. And as for reving it harder, my dyno sheet is a linear curve, it just keeps growing it hasn't peaked before it hits limiter
