Time for new springs....

For a while now my T2 vert has been pulling to the left gently while driving and I have noticed the outside shoulder on the left front tyre is worn. I did all the usual ball joint/bearing/tie rod end checks but couldn't find any freeplay. I now notice that the rear right hand side of my car sits 1.25" lower that the left side. Looks like my spring is kaput - do you think this what could making the car seer left?

1.25" is a helluva a lot, especially on a car balanced as well as an Rx7.. I'd say that's defiantly a possibility.. Make sure you get some new shocks, too, yours are probably beat on the one side for having to take too much of the weight.

My 7 still had the stock (or at least, OEM replacement at one point in its life) springs on it when I got it at 215,000 mi.. Wow, were they BEAT. I could push them down a good 5-6 Inches with just my hands, and not a lot of pressure.. A new set of Tokico Blues and Eibach Pros really helped out in that department
