time for new clutch... right?

i think its time for a new clutch just wanted ot get confirmation before i put the money up for it.

here's the symptom

1) It slips.

2) In neutral ever thing is fine, then when i press the clutch pedal everything is still fine. Once i put it into any gear a kind of scraping/ chattering sound starts, not sure how to describe it. Ifi take the car out of gear teh noise continues untili release the clutch pedal then it goes away. I think is casued by a bad throwout bearing?

3) About the same time the chattering noise started it became difficult to get the car to go into the reverse without grinding. Even after pumping the clutch a few times and putting it in 1st and 2nd. I believe this is the pilot bearig from what I've read.

1 has been present since i bougth the car 4 months ago, but 2 and 3 just became noticeable over the weekend.

I just wanted to make sure this sounded like a bad clutch to more experienced people, i got this car to learn and i've learned alot but there's also more to learn...

also what type is reccommended to get. I do not plan on doign any major mods so a near stock replacment should be fine for me. I was considering the Rotary Performance Clutch Kit.. any other suggestions?

go for a sprung street clutch if you're not doing much for performance mods

i will tell you that i've had nothing but fun with my solid hub 6-puck tho its either on or off, but when it's on it holds like a mothaf**a

well, it has a bonez racing pipe and k&n cone filter... stock catback though, those are the only performance mods done.. and before i do anything else performance wise there's some cosmetics thing i want to do... new drivers door factory spoiler touch up some paint...

I've been looking on the forums more and i haven't found much on teh RP street clutch but i did find one fairly negative comment about it... so i was looking at ACT and found good prices (i think) here...

http://www.rxecret7.com/act83.html

is your ACT 6 puck okay for daily driving or should i go with the street disc?

also should i worry about repalcing the cylinders or anything?

and for my description it seems like the clutch is the problem correct?
