How much would it cost me to do the proper rebuilt?

I got 86 NA.

by the way my car never overheated....just yesterday I've noticed coolant smell from the pipes (a lot of it...no white or gray smoke)...in the morning I've noticed the huge puddle of coolant behind the left rear wheel, comming out of the exhaust.

Atkins rebuild kit is like 895.00 their video is 30.00. I would make every effort to do it myself.

Actually i would get a jspec t2 from atkins or japan2la and swap that in for 1000 or so more.

Do your research! Invest in some fancy tools and find yourself a factory service manual (look in the FAQ). MANY parts can be reused if they are in spec. Good luck!

 

if you wanted a 'professional' to rebuild your car then the cheapest cost around for a quality build is at least 1300+ cost of unusable parts...
