TII swap questions (specific)

So I'm installing a FMIC on my turbo swapped 88 convertible. I'm using the vert ecu and wiring harness.

Now, apparently, I have a few things that need to be re-routed since installing this FMIC. First off, I'm ditching the air bypass solenoid, which hopefully will get rid of some of the annoying 3k startup. No cats here. But the air supply valve (for the power steering) I want to keep. I hope someone has an idea what to do with the hose for it. Also, I have no idea where the plug for this thing is supposed to be.

Also, I don't quite know yet, but it seems like the purge valve is going to get in the way of the compression elbow I just ordered. Should I ditch this, or figure out some better way of routing it too?

Maybe I should get some blockoff plates. Is there a decent writeup about the pros/cons of using the blockoff plates?

And I'm not getting rid of the P/S or A/C, so get that out of your head.

Ditching the air bypass solenoid won't get rid of the 3k accelerated warmup, as long as you have a BAC. The BAC will still direct enough air in to do most of the job. Apparently jumping the wires for the coolant temp switch on the bottom of the radiator will disable the system.

The air supply valve (ASV) isn't needed. And you have no plug for it because you're using all NA harnesses. It's normally on the turbo engine harness. I removed the ASV on my engine before it went in, and I can turn the wheel all I want with no dip in idle speed. I have no stalling while maneuvering around parking spots.

As for the purge valve, you could change the way it mounts, so it can sit horizontally. It might get it out of the way. If not, many people remove it.

Well that's some good news.

How about the blockoff plates? I'm wanting to get rid of alot of the extra crap on the intake manifold, but don't know if it's going to affect anything. I don't have an air pump, so I couldn't see it affecting anything anyways. Anyone got any useful advice on that?
