TII side housing on an n/a
If I remember correctly, TII side housing on an n/a was a benificial upgrade.
It was either that, or it was the Gen 3 housing on the TII. But I am almost positive it was the n/a.
Am I correct or is it one of my delusions?
While on the subject of sider housings, has anyone experienced the custom aluminum housings Racing Beat has? I discovered these last night. They are expensive as hell, but I was thinking for my drag car...
Do you think they can machine them to have the side ports for the exhaust? As in the RX8?

The reason for the Turbo plates on an N/A are becuase the 6 port plates don't have much area to plate, and the turbo plates would be best for big power (very large street ports and bridgeports).'
Turbo rotor housings are better too, but only because of the exhaust diffuser (which can be drilled out and replaced with the diffuser from junk t2 rotor housings)
Theres a thread about the aluminum front center and rear plates somewhere, Started by Greg. Search for the thread, but they're not really worth it.
That answer your questions?

We're talking about two different things here:
TII rotor housings are a direct replacement for the NA version. They have a much better exhaust port design (no diffuser).
TII plates/irons can be used, but there is some complication. The center iron is basically swappable, but if you want to use the two end irons you need to change the intake as the ports are different.
