TII project with 5-6k, what to get?

I'm planning out my TII spring project but don't want to jump out and start buying stuff that isn't compatible/isn't beneficial/etc. So, I have between $5k-$6k to spend on this, what do you guys think I should invest in? Ideally, I'd be buying stuff that I can build later on as more money comes in. For now, I'm interested in go-fast mods, not so much handling. Here's what I'm thinking so far.

TII body w/blown engine - 1500 (hopefully s5)
S5 Jspec engine - 1000
Haltech - 1500 (after all the little adapters and such)
RB exhaust - 800
Intake - 150
Fuel pump - 150
Injectors - 300

I think that's what I'd like. I don't know whether I should just go ***** out and get the Haltech or if I should just buy a Super AFC or something. What about it?

here is my 87TII project that i hope to be putting all together early this summer when i get home from college
87TII-$650. already got engine out and everything. has blown water seal
s5jpec-1000
hurley 2mm apex seals, gasket kit and water seals- +-400
s-afc-$300
new bumper and paint +-500
other miscellaneous-500
im going w/ the s5 motor b/c i think it will be better and i will just change sensors and whatever elso over to it and run premix. also will streetport it and put new seals in

looks like your budget is higher than mine though, so you could even go further. i guess you could go w/ a upgraded turbo compressor wheel or even the whole turbo and haltech

im going to start buying stuff after i sell my GXL

Hopefully I'll find a good TII body for less than 1500, I see you guys found them for quite a bit less, so that's nice. Do you think it would be a good idea to get an FMIC with the stock turbo? I really don't know where I want to spend the cash, all I know is that I can't wait to get started.

A front mount intercooler can do nothing but help your car, so if you have the money, I'd say get one. Also I would go with the ***** out Haltech.
