TII motor shipping

What do you all use to ship motors? pallets, crates?

What is a proper way to ship them... Just don't want anything falling apart

I strapped mine to a pallet and went to ship it and they told me it had to be crated. So I grabbed a saw, plywood and drywall screws and made a crate on the pallet.
