TII is hesitating (not 3800rpm related)

I did a search and most of the results were 3800rpm related. My hesitation is a bit different. This happens in everygear. If I'm cruising and suddenly floor the gas pedal, the car would "bog/hesitate" for a second then the power will kick in and the car would take off like crazy. I recently adjusted the TPS using the light method hoping that it would fix the problem. If I slowly floor the gas pedal, the car will not do this.

My boost sensor line doesnt have the pill, since the car and engine didnt have this line connected (was replaced with silicon line). Could this be the culprit?

My car's info:
1988 TII with about 105k on the engine and 61k on the chassis. The car has fresh oil w/OEM oil filter, new NGK spark plugs, and stock? blue NGK plug wires (61k miles on them).

Mods:
- TID Mod w/cone intake
- TB Mod
- Bonez DP (eliminates pre-cat)
- Blitz SS BOV
- ACV, EGR blocked off.
- Stock main cat & exhaust (61k miles on them)
- Ported wastegate.
- FCD

Yes, without that pill it'll render those symptoms. I've read numerous posts about it and they all had the same outcome, hesitation/bogging, some it's more extreme on, and others it's less.

hmm... I'm guessing the pill is exactly the same for n/a and turbo? If so, I'll head over to the local junkyard and get one. Is the pill on the manifold side of the line or on the boost sensor end?

I'm not positive on this, been almost 3 months since I looked at it, but I believe it's on the manifold side. I'm pretty sure they are the same (though I've never seen them both).

I'll find out tomorrow if its not raining and the junkyard is open. Thanks for the help. I'll update this page after I install the pill. Thanks

I'm a michigan native myself, and I don't have the accent yet, thank god. If the restrictor pill doesn't solve your problem, you can reground the pressure/boost sensor since the original one sucks.

I don't have the pill In the Pressure/Boost Sensor In my Vacuum Line due to me changing them with Silicone ones. What can I say? I forgot to swap It over. I could verify that I have no bogging whatsoever.

I should also mention that I added a 4 Gauge Ground from the Battery, directly to the stock Engine Ground, the one to the back of the Engine, below the Oil Filter and am certain this curtailed the hesitation.
