TII fuel injectors wont work
Alright, lets see if someone can help me figure this out... I just got the TII motor swapped in.. and went to start it up for the first time... cranks, but doesnt start... trouble shoot, and check... ECU isnt hooked up DOH!! Hook that up and think she will start up... try and its a no go... pull plugs they spark.. this and that.. then check fuel... pull hose off rail yep presurized.. Tear down upper intake and pull injectors...crank it with injectors hooked up but outta the motor... they are not spraying AT ALL...
Can anyone tell me why my injectors might not be spraying... the rail is getttin pressure.. so that isnt the problem... I dont think the injectors could be COMPLETELY clogged shut... so I am thinkin it is electrical... where would be the first place to look if the injectors dont spray, I checked fuses and none are blown.
Thanks for your help... want to have car running this weekend... I am gettin anxious

hmmmm would I need to take the resistor pack off the parts car??? where is it... that could probably be it. The motor is out of a 90 TII and the chassis is a 90 GXL (both S5). Is the resistor pack the thing right behind the headlight??? If so does this mean the GXL one wont work with the TII motor (cause there is a box there)??
Thanks for your help, if that is it, then I will hopefully have the car running tonight,
Ben

How about seeing if the ENGINE fuse in the crew compartment is good/bad?
Or...turn the key to ON. Get your meter out and see if there is 12v at each injector plug. One meter lead on a good ground and the other to probe the injector plug sockets. Should see 12v on the black/yellow wire at each plug.
If the throttle body is back on.....go to the ECU and check the small plug on the ECU for 12v on the injector plug wires. Pull the plug. Neg lead of the meter on a good ground. Probe the four injector sockets in the plug. I think they are ...light green....light green/red....light green/black....light green/white
One other thing...on a series four anyway, there is a gang or ring of grounds located under the throttle body/intake. Just off the centerline biased to the left rear. A ring with a couple of black ground wires. Must be connected/screwed/bolted to the block for the ECU to work right.
