i live like 20min away from them. they are reallly cool, and will help you with anything you need. not flakey and thats where im getting my engine from.

i was going to go to nippon motors, but they raised thier price from 650 to 750. and then shipping would be around 850-860. so it ends up being the same. except i know corksport and dont know nippon.

now all i need is money

Sometimes buying the J-Spec engines can be a risky move...but if I had the time, I'd tear down the J-Spec engine and refresh/rebuild the seals just to make sure I had a long-lasting and dependable engine. You CANNOT beat getting an entire long-block for $900.

Spazz, right on man, the option I have been considering for a long time is Mazdaracing.com(anyone ever heard of these dudes?)
I have spoken with them several times and gave me a quote on one of their "turn key" engine packages. They take the j-spec and do a complete rebuild on it and then ship it out. And the price before shipping is not far away from corksports at all(and thats after they do the rebuild!)

Well, forget about corksport, I wanna know everything everyone has to say about mazdaracing.com(good, bad, stories, substantiate you opinions please)

Those guys really know their stuff and I was only looking at corksport because it is a cheap way out, But i think i am gonna go ahead with M-R instead.
