TII engine control and monitoring question

I am in the process of converting my GTUs to a TII and have a few questions lingering after doing much searching and reading.

Condition there car was bought in:
TII tranny, Exeddy clutch, custom drive shaft, stock GTUs diff, blown motor

I have an exhaust as well as the TII wiring harness in my room right now

I just looked today at a street-ported TII block today which is definitely the way I want to go (all internals ready for whatever I can throw at it). But for right now I would like to have a relatively stock turbo and intercooler setup. I am not looking to make any crazy HP numbers, I would just like a strong car that I can have some fun with and will have the least chance of breaking...which brings me to my question.

In order of importance what type of electronics (Boost Controller, Fuel comp, FCD, etc.) should I be looking into.

**Edit** I would like to run the stock ECU

I have read through the thread regarding which gauges are most important and thought that a thread like this could also help others in my position.

Thanks,
Ryan
