Question TII aftermarket Fuel regulator/ No PD ?

I have a 86 TII and my Pulsation dampner is leaking. I have been told that if I get a aftermarket fuel regulator like a SX , that these will second as a dampner. I was wondering if this is true. If so that would be great, because its cheaper than buying a new PD. Any info would be great, and yes I have searched.

P.S. What would I do with the stock FPR.

You could also get one of the billet primary fuel rails that some dude is selling on EBAY.. I have one, its about twice as big inside diameter as the stock one, it fits in the stock location and should aid in avaidong pulsation along with the FPR. (comes with AN fittings, but you can ghange them to hose barbs if you want to keep the stock lines.

Ok, so what do i do with the factory FPR. Do i just cap the vac nipple, or should I get aftermarket rails. Where can I get some cheap rails. I dont need anything over the top, just a stock replacement with a little room for upgrades. Thanks

If its an S4, take it off, if its a S5 rail, cut it off, get S4 rails, or get an aftermarket fuel rail.
