Angry Tight hoses!

Ahhkk Went to switch out my BOV and I had a tough time taking out the vacuum hose that goes into the engine, the elbow hose, and the hose that runs into the intake duct. Does anyone know how I can easily pry them off without having to cut them? I was using a flat head screwdriver and just cranking at it, but it still didnt move an inch. Should WD40 work? The hoses have a hard putty that pretty much makes it the hardest part to remove. Any ideas?

Use a set of pliers, clamp the end of the hose lightly, and twist the ends slightly. That should help break the "seal" and loosen up the hose.
