Tie Rod Replacement

For those who HAVE DONE THIS.

How do you replace one of the tie rods?

I have a bent tie rod on the driver's side and need to replace it.

Is it possible to do this without removing the rack from the car?

I noticed they are sold in single units so it seems to be possible......

Yep, that is exactly what i needed. Yay for the FSM and haynes saying NOTHING about the fact that the tie rod is removable from the steering rack. Hopefully i didnt mess up the steering rack too bad.

Oh and thanks! I searched, but not in the archives.
