TID mod question
Ok I just need a sugestion.
Today I took my stock TID off and went to a muffler shop got a 3" 45degree bend of steel, went to home depot and got a 3" to 2" reducer, and a 3" to 3" connector. Now I just need to connect the 2 vacuum lines. I have the compressor bypass valve plugged because I have a aftermarket BOV.
I maybe making this out to be more complicated than it is...but I just want to be sure. I have seen people put vacuum nipples inside the 3 to 3 then getting silicon hoses and connecting it to the other nipples (http://www.1300cc.com/howto/how2/TID.htm)
but I just want to be sure that my idea will work also.
I would use the stock nipples that are on the TID, but I don't think they will reach...any suggestions. Can someone post some good pics of there TID mod.

Ok
Only two lines go back into the TID. The BOV line, you said you took care of that cause of an aftermarket BOV. The second is crank case ventilation, you can open vent this with no problem, on the end of the line is a silver check valve, just leave it unplugged. That's it.

I drilled a hole into my plastic TID, and screwed a nipple into it. it would be muchharder into your metal peice. I'd have one welded on.
I wouldn't open vent the crank line. it doens't take much to get it back into the tid. just make sure you use the check valve in the right dirrection.
if you have an 89+ you have a 2nd vac line. it also has to go into the TID. unless you have an aftermarket boost controller.

Ok maybe I am confused then.
When I took my stock TID off I have 2 vacuum lines going to it and another hole which I suspected as being the stock BOV line.
So if I am correct the 2 small vacuum lines are
1)For the stock Boost Controller
2)For the crank case ventilation
Then the larger one which I plugged with a lightbulb on the stock TID is for the stock BOV.
Is this correct?

Yes that is correct. Also do what Scott89tII says. If you don't want to do this there is a guy on thepartstrader.com who is selling custom 3in aluminium TIDs that are ready to go. They come with all the hardware and couplers. The only thing you'll have to buy is a little plastic 't' to connect your two vacuum lines.
