Ticking sound in Intake area (s5)

I have this ticking sound in my intake area it changes in decibel level but is almost a constant, and it increases speed with the rpms of the motor. I was thinking it was the fuel injectors spraying but I don't know. Someone take a listen and tell me if they have the same sound on their car please.

This is the link for it

If anyone has any kind of info let me know.

Thank you.

can't find the file, that site has some tiny character text so i can't even read it.

my suggestion is take a long screwdriver and put your ear to the handle and go over things on the motor, more than likely the sound will be coming from your injectors, you should be able to tell since the sound will match the RPMs of the motor vs what you hear from the injectors clicking.

I can hear it without a screwdriver, it sounds like it is under the intake about the same area of the primary injectors.

Just wondered if the injectors will make a clicking noise.

WAHHHH!! My car has that same loud *** ticking noise too. Yeah, very distinct up front around the belts? but definitely near the intake manifold. So anyone have a suggestion as to what this is?

the screwdriver is to isolate where the noise is coming from, an old mechanics trick...

ticking

I have a ticking noise similar to this but it almost goes away under accelleration so I think it may be vacuum leak.
Someone has to know what this is?1?

you better stop driving, it could be a bomb.

but seriously, does it tick with the key turned to the on position when the motor is not running? if so and it is a turbo, that is normal.

I get a ticking sound that comes from the auxilliary port actuators. There's a rectangular piece of metal with two (?) holes in it that moves back and forth. It probably has to do with having my 5/6th ports open all the time... but oh well.
