Wow that was a fun ride home, I can still smell my burning clutch .

My throttle is stuck at 4-8k depending on if I touch the gas pedal. Well I tore the intercooler off and observed that the throttle would turn, stick about 1/2 open allowing the TPS sensor to read full blast. It makes a odd scraping sound when it catches and will release iff you put enough force on it.

It ran fine last night, I see no problems with the springs, but I cant find out what is causing this sticking spot. Any ideas?

 

Fixed it after removing whole UIM. There was something rubbing on the primary plates shaft, causing it to stick. Removed and all is well.

I have NEVER had my car pull this hard :-D. Gotta love the TB mod. I probably will curse it tommorow morning in 30 degree weather.
