so im driving at a regular speed and it feels like my foot slipped off the pedal, so i go to put my foot back on but i feel the pedal go to the floor and nothing.
so i pull over into a parking lot, then i started feeling around my gas pedal for where the throttle cable connects and it was a couple inches longer.
so i pull the cable and the car revs fine.
For a quick fix i duct taped it, not the same but at least i could get around.
what could have happened, would i need a new cable or just tighten the one i have????

Did you look under the hood to see if the throttle cable was still attached properly to the back of the TB?
