My 87 t2 has been ported which Iknow can cause a rough idle but if any any of you have a problem with a horrible idle just test the tps. I had to replace mine because it couldnt be adjusted anymore. As soon as I did this the idle was perfect. I just wanted to know if anyone else had a similar problem.

 

TPS is a common failure point on 15+ year old fuel injected cars
