Hey I'm just about done changing my car to pre-mix and ran into a problem while putting the uim and throttle body back on...When I took the thing off that regulated how much fuel the injectors would put in I also removed a metal (brass?) rod that was attached to it. Now that I have everything back on I found that my throttle body has an empty carrage or whatever they are called. (throttle cables go on back two) This one is up front and I don't have anything to go in it. Was it that rod I removed? Was I supposed to remove it? If so do I just leave the carrage thing alone?

 

Another thing I need to know is:
The two cables (one that loops around the front of the engine. one that comes from passenger sidewall) How do I loop them? It is really comfusing how to loop them since I have no car to compare it with and the haynes manual doesn't show me.

 

The one from the sidewall is the cruise control, I dont remember where it hooks upsince I removed it, but that may help you a little.
