Throttle Help

Is there anything that controls the intake below 3k rpms? I've been having this problem where it just stutters within 0-3000 rpms and once it hits 3k rpms it revs fine. It also stalls a few times when its cold and when its really really hot like after 30 mins of driving

The only thing that controls the throttle is your right foot. Sounds more like a sensor problem, possible the AFM or coolant thermosensor.

Mine had a similar problem, after I removed the throttle to clean and explore. I was thinking it was the BAC, cause it was clicking and revving up and down. Then I realized that I never plugged the TPS sensor back in......(save your comments). Works fine now.

The code that engine light is throwing would be a big hint... pull the codes:

In an S5 like mine it's very easy... just ground the test wire to the metal bracket that holds up the fuse box in the engine bay.
