Throttle bogging help

Ok, I just recently got my engine rebuilt by BDC. And I finally got it running about a week ago. Here's my problem....Every time I go past about 1/8th throttle, the engine boggs and loses all power.(idle and driving) I can keep reving the engine as long as i dont go past about 1/8th of the throttle. I am running a haltech e6k with 550cc primaries and 1000cc secondaries. I had to increase the fuel about 20-40% just to get it to idle.(idles around 2000 give or take a little) I was told that the reason it was bogging could be because there was too much fuel being injected, but when I lower the fuel input it dies and wont idle. Can anyone help me? I have been off the road for a very long time and can't wait to get back on. Any advice would be most appreciated.
Thanks
Tim

read the instruction manual that came with the haltech e6k

You need to tune the thing, asking for help in the 2nd gen forum is not going to work too well, try the haltech section and get on the haltech support yahoo group / mailing list.

Also, you are in texas, I assume BDC offered tuning services to you? Did he already tune your car? You may want to try contacting him.

If you don't have the manual, I have the pdf version on my site here:
http://pengaru.com/info/haltech/e6k/

you can also get it from the haltech.com site.

edit:
sorry, forgot to link the yahoo group:
