i have a 91 n/a that i just replaced the motor in.
no under decent acceleration there is a knock...maybe clicking that comes from the throttle body. the car drives fine but has that knock.
any ideas or things to check to trouble shoot this problem?

what kind of noise?

I'd suspect about seventy billion other items for making a knocking sound before I'd suspect the TB.

 

im not completely positive but thats the area that it is coming from.
what should i start checking to find out?
and as a noise describtion its like a mix between a pop and a knock.
im just weirded out because the car isn't running weird...

 

spark plug wires. i replaced mine and ran premium fuel and it went away in my 1990 gxl. just thought that it would help
