when do these things like to blow up? i just rapped my t2 out to 8550 when i missed a gear oops

1. Learn to shift. It's not hard to hit the correct gears with a bit of practice.

2. The engine is fine. 8500 RPM briefly is *nothing* for these engines. If you hit 10k+ RPM, it might not care for it (stock), but 8500 RPM is still under the stock S5 NA fuel cut.

How did you know you hit 8,500RPM when the stock tach only goes to 8,000RPM?
