And the third alternator belt bites the dust....
Well, to be truthful the alternator belt did not break, what did is the air pump belt that broke, but it threw off the altnator belt which then some how shrank. In the process it twisted the A/C belt...so that make 3 belts...again...i've done this twice before now. I think this time i'll just replace all four of the damn things....stupid freaking Autozone belts....

You got that right. Autozone belts are absolute garbage. Stop putting them on your car. Gates is my favorite.
Check for rust in the "V" portion of your pullies. It will abrade the sides of the belt, making it thinner & consequently, looser.

yes get belts that have a V in them, but you could also
get a dual alt pully that might help. I of course as you
can see from the photo dont use an air pump but i still
think you can and could benefit from useing a dual alt pully. pm me and i will tell you a secret about them. lates matt22

Okay, new belts installed...again. Hopefully they won't break this time, i used quality belts in important place, namely the ones to the Alt and the air pump. Just those two because they both turn the Water pump, which is vital to the car.
