Unhappy thinking selling my car (t2)

after two years of working to buy my car, my parents now wants to buy me a car. They said my car waste too much gas and a car suppose to be something to take me from a to b, and i believe it's true. I don't drive my car much because of gas prices but i do drive it right when i do, when cold i leave it alone, just cruise. When warm i romp it occasionally for the sake of the motor. In a year i'll be in the army, going for two-year term and i won't be able to enjoy my RX-7 anyways. How much do you guys think i can get out of it?.

200k on body,
new shocks and springs.
mis-match paint = s5 stuff (i'll paint it soon when the money comes in)
MICROTECH ECU (makes car "VERY VERY VERY SMOOTH"
Greddy SP Exhaust (DUAL) keeps boost @ 7-8 PSI
Pioneer CD Player
changed motor oil every two months, i don't drive much didn't even get to reach the 2.5k milage mark, i just change it!
TB Modded.
changed out tranny fluids
most problems that this car had i fixed it myself.
engine is a rebuild from '99 has about ~100k on it (95 PSI both rotars)
89 Steering wheel (MOMO), 89 front bumper and rear.
Erebuni side skirts
New clutch (stocker)
Minor dings.
alot of extra grounds.
Interrior is in pretty good shape.

i'm not looking for someone who comes up with most money the just someone who understand RX-7s, if someone on the boards want to buy my RX-7 i'm going to RESEARCH YOU!

Overall it's a great car, i don't really like tire kickers (test drivers) i'm willing to let someone who really wants to buy it and ready and everything! drive it but not someone just "LOOKING"

95psi is on the "old" side of an engine's lifespan in my opinion. I dunno, 2K would be my bid if I had the money and TII's were my thing.

Ehh... most people would look at the mileage and run in terror, especially from a rotary. I'd say anywhere from $1500-$2000 is a good deal.

2k seems too low, maybe so aiming for 2500, i put alot of **** into this, heart and soul wise. With the money i'm going get from this car will be split into two. One for buying me a project car, 95% it'll be a FB or a NA 2nd Gen, and the other half i'm going for insurance. My family is weird, even though they buying me a car they want me pay for insurance, guess i got to do everything the hard way.

i can't let it sit for 3 years man, because basic trainning and then advance training then gone for 2 years, sitting like that is just evil for rotaries.

i love this car, but nothing beats a free car from your parents. I'm going get me a cheap FB shell, and work my way up slowly.

<~always RX-7..RX for life...

I really sux to put a bunch of time and effort into a car, cuz usually you don't get cash for it. I should know I have a 1989 FZR400 and I did a TON of **** to it, but I will be lucky to get half out of what I spent on it

i'm not really worry about the money more like someone who will take good care of it, i don't want it to end up in a junkyard because owner doesn't know **** about the car!
