Thinking ahead for emissions

Just thinking.

Should I unhook the wastegate from the actuator so it is a free moving item to help limit boost while on the Dyno sniffer?

Currently running no ACV/smog pump/rat nest removed/no cat/cleaned 550's/Rtek 1.5/walbro pump/Aeromotive FPR

Trying to think of things to help drop my levels down to pass limits.
Of course I will put a cat on there and a Smog pump.

Thinking of just putting the ACV on over the block off plate.
I've heard that the ACV routes air into the exhaust helping reduce it quite a bit.
Should I just remove the block off plate and hook it up to constant pump into the exhaust?

Also toying with borrowing a SAFC II and some alcohol.

Would dropping my FPR pressure rate affect anything?
Assuming it will drop idle AFR's and running AFR's due to injectors not getting the right pressure meaning less fuel going out of them.

Thx

Why not take off the C clip off the actuator rod and the open the wg flapper to the max and bend the little arm so it is fully open until after the test.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. Just removing the C-Clip and letting natural exhaust pressue push it open.

I'm still using the stock S5 wastegate so it does creep if layed into it.
Maybe I should finally port the damn wastgate since I need to and it would prevent them from hitting boost.

I know I'm probably over thinking it since I'm still relatively stock but I have to pass every 2 years and want to pass on the first try. I've got enough stuff bling'd out that they may start questioning. I especially don't want to repeat a alcohol run if possible.

From what I have heard running alcohol eats out the rubber fuel lines and injector orings/grommets. It also washes away lubrication for the seals. Just be glad you dont live in CA.

We're just as bad for emissions here.
We have to go on a dyno emissions sniffer but they are lax on mods though.
