I dont have my FSM any more so I cant identify all these doodads on the side of my lower manifold. I have a T2 with no airpump and no emissions testing. Can I just make a block off plate for all this Sh*t? Id like to have only the necessities under my hood. I am refering to all the stuff vertically between the turbo and BAC.

If you mean the ACV, EGR valve and split air pipe, then yes.

As I said I cant identify those things, IS that what I am talking about? Whats the downside to removing them?

Go to www.fc3s.org and download the EFI chapter of the FSM. Look at all the schematics at the front, and the sections on the Secondary Air Injection System and the EGR valve.

Since you have no air pump, the ACV is useless anyway. It’s all emission control stuff, so if there’re no checks in you area just pull it all off. Do a search for ACV and FGR and you’ll get tons of info on what to do. There’s a current thread with some good info here.
