Are these housings re useable

looks like they have chatter marks.
Can someone giveme some info on the severity of the damage








and the E Shaft?



and since we all love pic's here a shot of the carbon deposits i pushed out of the corner seals

Hmmm. Maybe reusable, but I wouldnt look for high compression numbers. It looks like maybe I see some chrome flakes on 1 of those pictures but it may just be the light. Id say its up in the air. Maybe, maybe not. More no than yes though Id say. Its up to you if you wanna take the chance

and what about the e shaft? are those heat marks supposed to be there? or did someone run this motor out of oil?
I also noticed a tiny chip out of the corner of one of the apex seals. could this chip have done this damage?

I brought the complete rotating assembly and housings ( basically the whole block minus the plates and the front cover, plus a new gasget set ( NZ$437 + GST ( 12.5% ( $491 inc) for NZ$600 plus shipping
