A thermowax question

I drive an 88 TII and I need to replace the thermowax in my fast idle cam, but, I can't find a replacement sensor anywhere, a dude I know might have one for a non-turbo; I know the thermowax is interchangabe between turbos and non-turbos, but where exactly is the thermowax sensor located on a non-turbo? I need to know so I can tell the dude where to look. thanks

The thermowax for both cars would be on the throttle body. Why don't you just pull the thermowax off all together and then you wont have to worry about it.

Tell your buddy it is on the firewall side of the throttlebody just after the big black rubber intake hose joins it.

There is a standard "throttle body mod" which removes the secondary throttle plates, thermowax, high idle cam. It's really easy do a search for it and you will come up with some info, some people even have the how too on there sites.
